We ask you for your passport information as you are applying to your program because we cannot stress enough the importance of having a CURRENT, VALID PASSPORT that expires NO LESS THAN 6 MONTHS from when you will RETURN to the United States after your travels abroad. It can take up to 12 weeks from when you apply for your passport to receive it.

If you do not have a current, valid passport, please plan to apply for your passport upon acceptance into the program OR a minimum of 5 months in advance of travel, whichever comes first, as we need your passport information well in advance of travel to make travel arrangements and issue airline tickets.

We will still consider an application complete for the purposes of application review and priority deadlines if you have not entered your passport information.
